WIR SIND HIER. – Creative concept and editorial work for social media
One year after the racially motivated attacks in Hanau, from 18–20 February 2020, the Literaturhaus Frankfurt will be holding a new event: WIR SIND HIER. The festival for cultural diversity.
WIR SIND HIER. will address Germany's situation as a country of immigration from two different angles: both in retrospect and looking ahead, to demonstrate that a diverse German-language literature has long since become established.
Four sessions over the course of three days will feature readings and debates by 16 guests.
For WIR SIND HIER. in 2020 and 2021 we took on the creative development and elaboration as well as the editorial work of the entire social media communication, such as the conception of various formats, the organisation and supervision of content creation and the copy writing. This includes the festival's newly launched channels on Instagram and Twitter as well as the Literaturhaus Frankfurt's channels on Facebook and Instagram.
We didn't stop at just announcing the festival, but rather created a rich and varied content plan that delves into the current debate, introduces the authors and aims to arouse interest in the topic and the festival as a whole.
Guests of the first WIR SIND HIER. Festival 2021 are: Ferda Ataman, Max Czollek, Mohamed Amjahid, Deniz Utlu, Ronja Othmann, Hadija Haruna-Oelker, Fatma Aydemir, Benaissa Lamroubal, Sham Jaff, Miryam Schellbach, Hengameh Yaghoobifarah, Senthuran Varatharajah, Seda Başay-Yıldız, Idil Baydar, Alice Hasters and Michel Abdollahi.
